How to Spend a Sunday in Vienna
It’s been 2 days I spent my day off in my room. This is a really bad habit of me, that once I touch the comforts of laying down in bed, watching, reading or listening to music, then the chance of me leaving the room will be zero percent.
But after 2 days, my common sense woke me up and commanded me to move my butt from the room. As I wrote in my previous post that it will be a waste if you spend your day off in your room while you are living in Vienna, one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
So, I decided to join my university’s friends to do some fun activities on Sunday. The first one was an excursion to Wirtschaft Universität Wien (Faculty of Economics in the University of Vienna). We went here because it is famous for its wonderful building that was designed by Zaha Hadid, one of the remarkable architects in the world.
So, here are some pictures from the excursion.

Indeed, it is really a nice and sophisticated building.
Since we are a good student, of course, we discussed some topics about our school and one of the hottest topic is “SPSS”, the scourge of the year.
After finished our hot discussion in the Faculty of Economics, we continued to a really nice cafĂ© near from the Museum’s Quartier. What we really like about this cafĂ© is the nice ceiling, as pictured below.
We had so many things that we talked about… from Erasmus study experience until… Tinder. Well, I can guarantee you that it was a weighty discussion.
Then we moved on the last and main course of the day which was "Wien Leuctet" or in English it is “Vienna Shines”. It is an interplay of video, slide projection, light, and sound of audiovisual show projected in the Natural History Museum Vienna.
In the day the Natural History Museum looks like this:
And during the event it looked like this:
And here are some pictures from today’s event:
I have to say that it was really AMAZING!! The 3D show was really beautiful and breathtaking. And it was free. So I really highly super recommend this event. It will be great if you visit Vienna during the week when this event holds.
After I finished watching, I dropped by my friend’s house, Arum, to catch up some stories with a cup of hot chocolate.
Anyway, it was a really nice evening. It was a good decision that I didn’t spend it sleeping under my blanket.
I made my first Vlog about today. It is a shitty vlog but I don't care. But feel free if you want to visit or leave some comments.
